We have some important information that we wanted to make sure you were aware of:

• PayPal registration is available via the website for the tackle season
• the last date for tackle registration is July 26th in order for us to prepare for the draft and order uniforms
• All coaches or anyone who would like to coach needs to contact Terry Graves as soon as possible, if they have not already done so
• Coaches applications will be made available at camp next week and anyone who would like to coach, assist coach or be a team mom will need to complete the application and return it to a board member
• We will be having parent meetings for each age bracket during camp next week, so please plan to attend while watching the camp activities
• Once again we have been selected to have players participate in the Rams Scrimmage program this season with the 9 year old game being held on Saturday, August 13th.  We will be selling tickets starting next week at registration!
• WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO BE THE DIRECTOR OF THE CHEER PROGRAM - IF WE CANNOT FIND SOMEONE TO FILL THAT POSITION WE WILL BE UNABLE TO CHEER THIS SEASON

We look forward to seeing everyone at camp next week and ask that you please bring water for your son or daughter since it is sure to be warm. 

THE 2011 TCYFA TACKLE FOOTBALL SEASON WILL GET UNDERWAY WITH CAMP ON JULY 12, 13 & 14 FROM 6PM - 8PM AT SUNSET PARK BEHIND FESTUS CITY HALL.  THIS CAMP IS PROVIDED AT NO COST AND PLAYERS BETWEEN AGES 5 AND 12 ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.  WE WILL ALSO BEGIN REGISTRATION AT THAT TIME.

 REGULAR SEASON PRACTICES WILL BEGIN ON JULY  19TH AND CONTINUE EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY FROM THAT POINT ON FROM 6PM -8PM.

OUR WEIGH-IN WILL TAKE PLACE ON 8/13/2011 FROM 9:00 AM - 1:00PM AT THE FESTUS ELEMENTARY CAFETERIA.

THE JAMBOREE WILL TAKE PLACE ON 8/20/2011

FIRST GAME WILL BE ON 8/27/11 AND WE WILL BE OFF THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND FOR LABOR DAY

 WE HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RAMS FOOTBALL SCRIMAGES AGAIN.  THIS SEASON OUR 9 YEAR OLD PLAYERS WILL BE GIVEN A PRE-SEASON GAME (ON AUGUST 13) AND A REGULAR SEASON GAME TO BE NAMED LATER.  OUR 12 YEAR OLD PLAYERS WILL BE PLAYING IN A REGULAR SEASON GAME ON NOVEMBER 27TH.  WE WILL BEGIN SELLING TICKETS VERY SOON!!

 A MORE COMPLETE CALENDAR WILL FOLLOW.

We will be having make up games this coming Saturday, May 7th for our rainout a few weeks ago.  Players will play their first game at the regular time and then the schedule will repeat itself…5-7 year olds will play at 9:00am and 1:00pm9-10 year olds will play at 10:00am and 2:00pm8 year olds will play at 11:00am and 3:00pm11 and up will play at 12:00pm and 4:00pm

THERE WILL BE NO FLAG FOOTBALL TODAY, 4/16 DUE TO THE RAIN. 

REMEMBER THERE ARE NO GAMES NEXT SATURDAY DUE TO THE EASTER HOLIDAY.

 WE WILL SEE EVERYONE BACK IN TWO WEEKS!!

We have had a great turnout for Flag Football registration and our time slots for this Saturday’s practices will be as follows:
 
 
9:00-10:00         5, 6 & 7 year olds
10:00-11:00       9-10 year olds
11:00-12:00       8 & 11 year olds
12:00-1:00pm    12-14 year olds
 
We will be taking registrations on Saturday at the field, however, this will be the final opportunity for you to register.

Cheerleading registration and practice will beging this coming Tuesday, 7/26/11.

This season the cheerleaders will cheer at home games, rather than traveling to away games, however more information on the schedule will follow soon.

Flag Football season is almost here!!!!

Registration:     Saturday, March 19th and 26th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Festus Public Library

Practice:           Saturday, April 2

Games:             Saturdays from April 9th until May 21st excluding Easter Weekend

Location:          Crystal City High School Football Field

We hope you are all enjoying your off season and looking forward to the start of tackle season in July, 2011!!!  Although it’s several months away, we would like to get in contact with anyone who would like to be, or is considering being a head coach or assistant coach for this season.  In order to help our coaches in preparing for the season, they have been invited to the Glazier Mega Football Coaches Clinic, being held in St. Louis, February 25 thru the 27.  While this event is free of charge to our coaches, everyone must be pre-registered prior to the event.  If interested please contact Terry Graves via email through this website.
