Hello and we hope everyone had a great time during the holidays. Just a few updates concerning the 2010 season… New Board Members Please welcome Tim Davis and Pete Mock to the board. Tim is the new Equipment Director and Pete will assist Terry Graves in the coaching director duties. We continue to hold the board meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at the Festus Library (400 West Main). The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m and generally last 2 hours. Everyone is invited to attend and learn more about the activities for the league. 2010 Dates The following are the dates for the season. Please note that some tackle dates are not confirmed; they are subject to conference decisions. Flag Football Registration - Saturday, March 27 and Saturday, April 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at JMH in conference room B Note: We are reserving the JRMC (hospital) field in case Crystal City floods.
Tackle Football Free Camp - July 13 to 15 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Park The dates listed below are subject to conference decisions and are tentative dates. All indications are the conference will continue with last year’s schedule (first game before Labor Day) but this has not been confirmed.
We will be clearing out the 2009 team information within the next couple of weeks. If you are interested in any information posted on the Web for 2009, please save or print the information by the end of January. Thanks and please contact us if you have any questions.
