Crystal Field

As predicted, the Crystal City High School field did flood over the weekend.  It will not be available for our home Super Bowl games.

Please realize that Crystal has fiduciary responsibilities to protect the field.  They did consider our need for last Saturday but, because of these responsibilities, could not accommodate our games.  The good news is that Crystal City has approved measures to improve the levy.  This should drastically reduce the possibility of flooding in the future.

We are currently working with the other leagues to schedule the Super Bowl games.  We’ll send the schedule as soon as it is finalized.

Banquet Tickets

We will have tickets for sale at Tuesday’s practice.  This will be the last time you can purchase your tickets.  Please see one of the board members if you’d like to purchase a ticket or if your player has not received his ticket.

The banquet will be held at Andre’s (Best Western in Festus) on November 8th.  The 5/6 and 7/8 banquet will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.   The 9/10 will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m and the 11/12 will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Please note that if you have players at different times, you will only need to purchase one ticket.

Equipment Return

We will be accepting equipment returns before each banquet.  The equipment includes the helmet, shoulder pads, and pant pads (7).  You must return all of the equipment issued to your player to receive your deposit check.  Since we won’t have a home field for Super Bowl, we are also working to set up another time for equipment return.  We’ll notify you as soon as we can determine board member availability.
