Additional Shirt Order

Orders for additional shirts are due by the end of practice on Tuesday.  Please turn in your orders to Allyson, Staci, Jill or Kim.  You will need to have your order form as well as the payment.

Practice Pants

We recently found a box of white practice pants in various sizes.  We’ll have the pants available for sale ($5) during next week’s practices.  The sales will be on a first come, first serve basis.  Please stop by the pavilion where we took registrations if you are interested in purchasing a pair of pants.

Fundraising

When providing nearly all players with new equipment this year, we exceeded our equipment budget by over $6,000.  In order to keep the registration fees for next year at the same (or possibly lower) level we need to raise some additional funds.  We’d like your input as to the types of activities that you would be interested in. 

Below is a link to a survey that will help us determine interest.  The various options are described below.  If you have additional ideas, please select Other on the survey and describe your suggestions.  Please make sure to include your name and phone number in the description so we can contact you to discuss.

We are really interested in any activities that will be fun for our parents and kids.  Please note that one of our parents, Tim Davis (Tanner’s dad from the 7/8 Red Cougars) is a recruiter for the Army and can provide us access, free of charge, to the Festus Armory (located near Hiway A on Hiway P) for our inside events.

• League Yard Sale - Each family can contribute items for the yard sale.  We can hold the sale inside and all proceeds will go to the league.
• Trivia Night - We can sell tickets to a Trivia Night where we can also sell food and beverages.  Winners will receive cash prizes with the remaining proceeds going to the league.
• Poker Night - Much like Trivia Night, we’d have a poker tournament with an entry fee.  The winners will receive cash prizes.  Again, we’d have the opportunity to sell food and beverages to raise additional money.  Unlike Trivia Night, this will be an adult only event.
• Lindenwood College Football Night - We have the opportunity to purchase college football game tickets to the September 26th game where Lindenwood will play 8th ranked Midamerica Nazarene.  The game is scheduled for 6 p.m.  The ticket price is $8 and the league will keep a portion of the ticket sales.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey.  Based on the results, we’ll pick the event(s) and begin the planning.

Reminders

• Please remember that it’s important that the parents / guardians continue to attend the practices.
• There is a No Smoking policy at the Crystal field.  Smoking is allowed outside of the field area near the restrooms.
