News from TCYFA

Hello! It’s been a busy couple of months and we wanted to let everyone know some great new developments and important dates. 

• We are now the Twin City Cougars!  Above is the new logo for the league.  We’ll continue to have different color jerseys for each team in a division but now we’ll be able to offer various league items, such as t-shirts, seat pads, and window decals that promote all our Cougar players.
• We’ve purchased over $9,500 worth of new equipment.  We were able to take advantage of quite a few discounts from Riddell and are excited about the new helmets and shoulder pads.

•  Several parents interested in coaching attended the Glazier Clinic in late February.  Our Riddell representative sponsored our participation.

•  Plan on participating in the TCYFA Punt, Pass, and Kick tournament that will be held at the Festus Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday, June 27.  We’ll send more information as we confirm the details.

•  Flag Football is here!  We have expanded the age group to include 5 to 15 year olds and reserved the Crystal City High School field for the practice and games.  We’ve posted a separate Flag Football announcement and if you have questions, please contact Rodney Polston at (573) 330-1387 or rpolston@charter.net.

•  Tackle Football camp will be held on July 14, 15, and 16 at Sunset Park.
